Kamil Art Gallery stands out for its innovative and visionary approach to contemporary art. It features a wide range of works by international artists who challenge established artistic conventions and explore the boundaries of creativity.

The gallery was founded in 1976 by Kamil, an interior designer, avid collector and committed patron of the arts. Driven by the desire to pass on his passion to future generations, and constantly on the lookout for new ideas, he has built a reputation for exhibiting avant-garde works of art.

The gallery’s curatorial approach emphasizes experimentation and the promotion of new and innovative forms of artistic expression, often presented in immersive environments.

Galerie Kamil is located in the charming Larvotto district, at 3 avenue Princesse Grace, just opposite the new Mareterra building complex. This gallery, rich in history, offers a warm and friendly welcome. What’s more, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seafront to complete your visit.

Eric Massholder, For Vincent : Timeless Connections

Much like a certain starry night, Eric Massholder’s portraits of Vincent van Gogh show a connection to their model that goes beyond realism. Through the opulence of the colours, the intensity of the drawing and a total plastic freedom, this series by Massholder—drawing as much from Post-Impressionism as from Dadaism and more—shows us the man as much for his features as for his incredible influence on contemporary art.

However, a visit to this exhibition reveals a more intimate kinship between these artists separated by more than a century. Linked by the same creative frenzy set in humility, both living against the tide and driven by a fascination for life bordering on the sublime, For Vincent: Timeless Connections uses the self-portraits of one to portray the other. Like that of his master, Massholder’s work does not whisper, but thunders and roars in an exalted tribute to the one to whom it owes so much.

Mystic Reality

”Mystic Reality is a solo exhibition of paintings by German artist Eric Massholder. In this recent body of work, Massholder takes an event-driven, narrative approach.
Through large-scale paintings, he invites the public to participate in ceremonial events where dance, music, drink and food give rise to festive gatherings. These events take on an exceptional dimension here, as the main guests and hosts are extraterrestrials.
Non-human figures have been the subject of many of Massholder's works, from the Mighty Father and His Son to Mickey Ganesh and the Alien series, he has created characters who incarnate in a variety of forms. However, in these recent works, he depicts his interpretation of the appearance of extraterrestrials and shares his imagination of how they might live together and socialize.
